Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of screenwritershub.com and the Screenwriter Lab programs (the "Services"), operated by Brandon ("we", "us", "our"). By signing up, purchasing, or using the Services you agree to these Terms.

1. The offers

• Free 7-Day Sprint: a free, email-based challenge. No payment required. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• The Lab (membership): an ongoing membership priced at $49/month or $490/year. Cancel anytime. No contract. There is no money-back guarantee on The Lab membership; canceling stops future billing.
• The Founding Accelerator: a 180-day program priced at $1,997 one-time or 2 payments of $1,099. Covered by the guarantee described below.

2. The Accelerator "Finished Draft or It's Free" Guarantee

The Accelerator carries a participation-based guarantee: if you complete Full Participation for 180 days and do not have a completed first draft of a feature-length screenplay at the end of the program, we will refund every dollar you paid for the Accelerator.

"Full Participation" means all of the following, for the entire 180 days of the program:

• Attending the weekly live group work sessions (or watching the replay within the same week if you cannot attend live).
• Submitting new pages every week.
• Responding to the feedback you receive on those pages before the next submission.

To claim the refund, email brandon@screenwritershub.com within 14 days of the 180-day period ending. We will confirm your participation record and, if you meet the requirements above and have not completed a first draft, refund the full amount you paid. This guarantee does not apply if you did not meet Full Participation, and it does not apply to The Lab membership or the free 7-Day Sprint.

3. Membership billing and cancellation

The Lab membership renews automatically on your billing date (monthly or annually) until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation stops future billing and preserves access through the end of the period you already paid for. There are no refunds for partial months, partial years, or unused time on The Lab membership, and there is no money-back guarantee on the membership.

4. Results and educational disclaimer

Screenwriter Lab is an educational program. We provide structure, feedback, and accountability. We do not promise any specific creative, career, industry, or financial outcome, and nothing on this site or inside the program is a guarantee that you will sell a script, get representation, get produced, earn money, or achieve any particular result. Your results depend on your own effort, consistency, and skill.

5. Content and intellectual property

You retain full ownership of everything you write. Program materials (recordings, templates, frameworks) are licensed to you for your personal use only and may not be shared, republished, or resold.

6. Community conduct

Respectful, constructive participation is required. We may remove members who harass others, act in bad faith, or disrupt the community. Removal for conduct is not eligible for a refund under the guarantee above.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the Services is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of Screenwriter Lab resides (the "Governing Jurisdiction"). Any dispute arising out of these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the courts of that jurisdiction. The specific Governing Jurisdiction will be listed here in the final version.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Effective date" above. Continued use of the Services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
